6.3 Init Command Line

The runlevel to run in can be given as argument in the command line:

/sbin/pies 1

Apart from this, the following command line arguments are recognized:

-s

single

Initialize default runlevel ‘S’.

-b

emergency

Run emergency shell /sbin/sulogin, prior to initialization.
