4 Configuration file

The configuration file hostproc.conf is searched in the default configuration path (inspect the output of hostproc -h to obtain its value). You can also specify the full name of the configuration file using the -c command line option.

The file syntax is similar to the syntax of snmpd.conf: each statement consists of the keyword and value, separated by any amount of whitespace, comments are introduced with the hash symbol (‘#’).
